FAKE SKIN BODYSUITS?...lyk, oh em gee

Photographer Nicole Tran Ba Vang is known for her unique surrealist work involving digitally manipulated "human flesh apparels". She resides in Paris and speaks of her work as being an exploration of society's obsessiveness with image and the strengths and flaws that are carried with it. Her latest collection is entitled 'Printemps/Ete', which showcases removable bum bums, boob bras and other bodily oddities. Personally I'm not quite sure what to make of this exhibition, although it certainly says something about the latest plastic surgery craze that seems to have swept the nation and continues to poke its meddling head full of pointless plastic promises of perfection around unwanted doorframes....
